Amanda is a first-generation college graduate who earned her B.A. in Spanish Linguistics from Rutgers University, with plans to be a Spanish/ESL teacher. Upon realizing her involvement on-campus as an undergrad translated to a passion for working with college students, Amanda continued her studies at Rutgers and earned her Ed.M. in College Student Affairs. Prior to joining the CC team, Amanda worked at Rutgers planning new student orientation.

Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, reading, binge-watching TV shows, and cheering on her favorite football teams.

Tony earned his B.S. in Secondary Education/Mathematics and his M.A.E. in Instructional Design & Technology from Seton Hall University. Prior to working at NJIT, Tony advised freshmen and taught freshman seminar and developmental math courses at Seton Hall, and advised Health/Kinesiology students at Texas A&M University.

Tony likes to run, watch football and TV shows, play fantasy football and video games, and try out new restaurants.

Michele earned her undergraduate degree in Management and Finance from the University at Albany. After working several years in the business sector, she opted for a change in her career path and began pursuing her M.A. in Counseling at Montclair State University. She found her passion for working with students in higher education while holding internships with MSU’s Educational Opportunity Fund office and here in CC.

Michele loves traveling, rock scrambling, swimming and spending time with her family.

George earned his undergrad and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo and the University of Florida. He spent 21 years in the Air Force doing mainly engineering and safety. While in the Air Force he taught Air Force ROTC here at NJIT for 4 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he obtained his PhD in Management at Rutgers-Newark and his master's in Computer and Information Sciences here at NJIT. He has been working in the College of Computing in several different positions for the past 16 years.

George loves traveling, boating, fixing cars and things around the house and spending time with his 3 sons and their families.

Dan joined NJIT in 2013 as a computer science transfer student and, after graduating in 2015, returned as a full-time academic advisor. He has completed degrees in psychology (BA, The College of New Jersey) and mental health counseling (MA, New York University), is working on his MS in Computer Science, and is thrilled to be combining his passions for people and technology.

Outside of the office, Dan enjoys various mind- and body-bending activities from gymnastics and martial arts to jigsaw puzzles, foreign languages, and strategy games.

Hello everybody! I'm a junior, majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Business. I'm also a transfer student and this is my 3rd semester here at NJIT. Having five years of experience of serving, tutoring, and advising students, and people of all ages, I have gained invaluable interpersonal skills, so feel free to stop by the CC Advising Office if you need any help.
