Shanna earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Studies as well as her Masters Degree in Counseling from Montclair State University. After interning at the Academic Success Center at Montclair State University, where her main focus was with academically at-risk students, and working for several years as a Special Education teacher she decided to pursue her love for Higher Education.
Shanna enjoys cooking, singing, dancing, playing sports, and spending time with her friends and family.
Michele Bell is the Associate Director of Academic Advising, bringing several years of professional experience in higher education and academic affairs. She holds a Master of Arts in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Montclair State University. With a deep understanding of the multifaceted collegiate experience, Michele is dedicated to supporting STEM student success, persistence, and development initiatives.
Dr. Wohn (she/her) is an associate professor at NJIT and director of the Social Interaction Lab (socialinteractionlab.com). Her research is in the area of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) where she studies the characteristics and consequences of social interactions in online environments such as livestreaming, esports, virtual worlds, and social media.
