Kathleen's Bio

Kathleen earned her Bachelor's Degree in English from La Salle University. Through many involvements on campus, she decided to pursue her Masters Degree in Education with a concentration in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Merrimack College. She worked for several years with international students, within residence life and in event planning. Through these positions, she discovered her passion for academic advising and student support. Kathleen loves to hike, write spoken word poetry, drink coffee and spend time at the beach.

Hannah's Bio

Hannah obtained her Bachelors in Spanish and Education, as well as her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, from Caldwell University. Before coming to NJIT, she worked as a middle school Spanish teacher and then transitioned to the world of higher education as a Graduate Academic Advisor. Hannah is passionate about supporting student success at every stage of their education and finding ways to best support every unique learners needs. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, working on craft projects, and baking.

Amanda's Bio

Amanda earned her Bachelor's Degree in Family and Child Studies as well as her Master's Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Higher Education from Montclair State University. Before working at NJIT, Amanda was an Academic Advisor at UNC Charlotte for Pre-Health majors and an Academic Advisor and instructor at the University of South Carolina for Pre-Pharmacy students. She enjoys getting the opportunity to build relationships with her students during advisement and when she teaches.

Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and spending time outside.

Lauren's Bio

Lauren has been "saving lives" through academic advising for well over 10 years. Even though she was born and raised in Philadelphia, she never lets grass grow under her feet. Having scaled the Great Wall, waltzed through Vatican City, and sipped tea with London's finest, she loves adventure and brings her vast world experience into her interactions with students. Her goal is to empower individuals to make informed decisions that will set themselves up for success in their academic, personal, and professional lives. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and her Master of Liberal Arts from Temple University.

Calron's Bio

Calron Dover became involved in Higher Education after his advisor from his undergraduate career saw his potential. Coming from the inner city and experiencing various experiences, Calron can connect with anyone he speaks to. While he enjoys seeing others succeed, he has a fun side which involves basketball, working out, cruising in his car, and being busy. Calron enjoys opportunities of growth from either his career or worldly experiences. He also believes everyone has their own experiences which prepares them for their goals.
