Students do not need to submit paperwork to apply for graduation. You will be "pre-certified" by the advising office and will be contacted directly by the Registrar's office about next steps. Please contact your advisor if you have any questions about your graduation eligibility.
Commencement & Diplomas
Students who were certified for graduation in August, January, and May are eligible to participate in Commencement following their last semester.
Undergraduate students with 7 or fewer credits to complete in the summer semester may be eligible to participate in Commencement in May of the same year. Please consult with your academic advisor if you believe you may be eligible.
After being certified for graduation by an advisor, all questions regarding Commencement and diplomas should be directed to commencement@njit.edu. Academic advisors are not involved in the planning of Commencement or mailing of diplomas.
